How do I make it to where people that arnt my friends on facebook cant see any of my profile activity?
I've followed FB privacy walkthroughs and such, but when I go to my other computer to check to see if I can see anything on my other account, I can see everything!! Even just pictures of my cat that no one liked. How do I set my facebook up to where people that aren't my friends, cant see anything on my profile??

When you're on Facebook click on the cog in the upper right corner and go to settings. When in setting go down to privacy. Change "Who can see future posts" to friends. Then change the "limit audience for posts you've shared with friends" to friends. The got to the timeline and tagging part. Change "Who can see posts you're tagged in" to friends. Then change "Who can see what others post on your timeline" to friends.
With your photos you need to go back to your profile and to your photo albums. You have to change the privacy settings for each album separately. While in the photo album section there is a symbol, probably a cog or a person, to the right of each album name. You need to click on this and change the privacy settings to friends. You don't have to check it on another computer either. On the bottom of your cover photo to the right of the activity log button you can click the cog icon and go to "View as." This will let you see what your profile looks like to other people. Ads |
