Cheapest internet will be dial-up. That uses your phone line to connect to the internet, it is also the slowest. Broadband or cable internet is going to be slightly more expensive but it will give you decent internet speeds and it won't interrupt your phone lines. Wifi only matters once you actually have internet set up, so don't worry about that just yet. If you can afford it go the broadband/cable route.

I suggest you for broadband, its unlimited usage for approx Rs 800.
you can further enhance it to your mobile usage by WI-Fi router.

so cost of your mobile internet top-up will also be included in broadband bill only.

Go to a public library in marathahlli, bangalore, and ask them if they allow people like you to connect your laptop to their Internet connection. They might have someone there who can explain it to you, or know someone who will explain it for no cost to you.

In the United States a lot of libraries allow people to use the library WiFi to make the connection, so this is not unusual at all.

=== Regarding using your laptop on someone else's WiFi connection :

Last week Yahoo announced it would no longer allow people to access their mail unless they use a secure access point.

"We've recently updated our servers for your safety and now require a secure connection when accessing Yahoo Mail from a mobile device or mail client," Yahoo Mail published in its help center.

If you are confused between the speed and the money then you should go for broadband services as they are both reliable, speedy and cheap.
