How to start a website?

I am looking to start an online business. How would I accomplish that?

Great to know that you are going to start online business.

As far your question is concerned, there are a lot of things to consider before you start the same.

1. Get a domain name from providers like godaddy.com
2. Get a plan to buy from them depending upon the data to be uploaded and used.
3. You then need a website designer who can design your website. If you planning to do the same then you will save quite a lot.
4. Who is going to maintain the website on your behalf? Pls decide before you jump in.
5. How frequently are you going to update your website. I suppose quite often.

There are as lot such things to look and know before just starting it.

Starting an online business isn't easy. I would recommend you to try eBay, article writing and facebook fan pages before actually opening your own website. Try your best to make some cash and SPEND all your money which you make on educational products and software for marketers. Invest in yourself first and foremost and get only reputable products (if it has a video showing some guy with his Porsche taking you through a tour of his multi million dollar villa while trying to convince you for half an hour how cool would it be if you were to become rich IT IS NOT reputable even when it's free!)
