Drop box or skydrive? Which is better?
Ok so i havent used either of them so I wanted to know which is better. I have so many files on my computer its driving me crazy.
Can I upload my files on either of these applications and delete them from my computer only to be accessed online? Or do I need to leave them on my computer? Because I dont want to do that...

Both are good.
If you delete those folders from the local Dropbox/Skydrive folder in your PC, they will get erased from the internet storage as well, during the sync.

Hi Zeiinab!

Right of the bat it is hard to tell which service is the best solution because it comes down to your needs. Unfortunately, both services will delete your files if you delete them from your hard drive. So those services are not suited "to make room" on your hard drive. They are best use for "file sync" purposes, meaning you can make your files available on all of your devices.

True "online storage" is hard to come by. There is a service called Zoolz which allows infinite archival of files even if you delete them from your computers. Other services like MEGA give you 50GB free storage and you can just upload a couple of files there. You might want to compare services according to your needs:
