Why is yahoo on chrome?

Why is yahoo on chrome?
I logged onto my laptop and found that chrome doesn't seem to be working.
Whenever I type something into the search bar it takes me to Yahoo instead of Google! Is the same thing happening with anyone else? Any ideas why this could be happening?
