This links and other options must be personalized by every user according to users need and his own will.
I consider this is a flagrant human rights violation and discrimination of non-facebook users and a trying to force everyone to join a network that they don't want.

It's advertising for their empire. Sadly every major corporation tries to do this :/ eg. Twitter.

Assuming you mean bombardment of popups advertising facebook then there is something you can do.

switch browser to firefox. http://www.firefox.com

once installed click on add-ons and find adblock plus.. this is a VERY good popup stopper and advert remover. (it updates regularly too)
