What ISP is better than U-Verse?
We have AT&T right now with the plan thats 2nd best to U-Verse and it absolutely sucks. I cant play my xbox downstairs if just ONE person is on wifi upstairs whether its on their phone, laptop, home computer, or tablet. Most of the time the connection on xbox sucks even if the computer is just on, even without a web browser open. All my other friends have U-verse and their parents can be on youtube and watch movies while they play XBOX or PS3 with PERFECT connection.

Ive done everything i can to make the xbox connection better without switching ISPs. Unfortuantely AT&T is a bunch of self-centered business people who dont care about the customers who have been loyal to them for 10+ years and just care about whatever they feel like doing.

U-Verse is not in my area at this time. The last time i checked before today was about a year ago to see if it was in my area and it wasnt. Today i checked and its still not here so it looks like it wont be coming in my area anytime soon, probably never in that case.

What ISP has just as quick internet connection, download speed, kpb or whatever it is that lets me play xbox with no connection problems? comcast? dont really know of others cuz all my friends have U-Verse.

Your problem is the wifi connection. It isn't the service. Trying to game over a wifi network is ridiculous especially if the router is on another floor. Run a networking cable.

You should check your router settings and also the wifi, just to see if no one else is on it and sucking all the bandwidth. Also if you torrent and don't cap the upload speed, your download speed will lag terribly, once the upload speed is saturated to the max.

And what DrDave said is also correct, use a wired connection to the xbox.
