Best cheap/older model smartphone?

I have a HTC One X but I break it ALL the time. I dropped it in water the other day and because I've claimed too many times I'm not insured any more.

SO I want a new, cheap phone. I still want to be able to listen to music and use twitter, instagram, facebook etc, but I just don't want one too expensive. An old Samsung model or something, I dunno. Which older smartphones would you recommend?

Samsung galaxy young is ok that's what I've got i think but Samsung galaxy ace is good too

how about a change, nokia lumia 520 windows phone ? quite cheap. have a look at it online.
