has anyone heard grooveshark is going to be banned in the uk?
its one of my favourite sites, music sites that is.......according to this write up, the site is going to get banned in the uk

.. i'm pretty sure google made youtube, but yeah man that's a pretty big possibility seeing as what thy have all done to the internet it's kind of tyrannical if you ask me, with all the scada systems open over there you would think thy would worry about securing them before trying to stop piracy ... (starting looking in to proxys and vpns)... and the answer is about a million places you just got to look

If they are found to be operating illegally they will be blocked.

If the court agrees with them they can instruct the UK ISPs to block access to the illegal content. There are plenty of legal music streaming services to use. Google and Yahoo! are free to do whatever they want with their sites just as you are free to create your own site. |
