Would she see the facebook message when she logs back in?

Hey so I was on facebook today and my best friend was on as well. She had the green dot beside her name on Facebook in the chat area, and it said 'web' beside it, so I know that she was online. I sent her a facebook message, and she still appeared to be online when i sent it, although about a minute later, she logged off and facebook did not indicate that she saw my message. What im wondering is will she see it when she logs onto facebook again next time she goes on? Or will she not get any new message notifications? Any help would be appreaciated. Thanks.

she will still have the notification the next time she logs in - she might just ignore it tho
