Where is the best place to buy and keep bitcoins?
also, can coins be transfered to anybody with all wallets or do some wallets have limitations to whom you may send coins?

I really would suggest not using bitcoins until it is more established. There have been some sories in the news lately that would make me worry about losing all my coins.
