If you want to do the pure photo gallery thing those sites you mentioned woud be good, actually I would recommend you do both but as secondary traffic sources for your main blog where you can have more elaboration text and promotions, Google's Blogger.com is the most popular hosting over 1.2 Billion pages, there are no paid upgrades there like most other 'free' hosts and they encourage you adding Adsense ads for revenue.
Wordpress.com is a good place to learn the industry standard Wordpress blog platform you may use more professionally on a paid host later...

I really like Wordpress. I've been using for about two years now and it's pretty straightforward and user friendly.

If you're serious about a business website, don't use a free website to build one.

Instead, use a top quality web hosting service (only $6 to $7 a month) and host your free WordPress website/blog there. I recommend http://www.BlueHost.com as the top web hosting service. Myself and all my online marketing clients use BlueHost. Checnk it out on the web hosting review sites - it's always in the top 3 or so.

Like all the top hosting services, they have a 1 click script to install WordPress for you. Then you only need a little knowledge on how to run WordPress (from http://www.wordpress.org, or do a Google search, or buy a book) and a free WordPress "theme" (like the one that comes with WordPress) which controls the "Look & Feel" of your website/blog.

Of course having a website/blog is just the start. The hard part is building traffic to your site and getting visitors to subscribe to your email newsletter for repeat business.
