If I 'like' something on tumblr, can people view it?

I want to 'like' something on tumblr for future reference, but I don't want my followers to see that I 'liked' it. So, can people see it? amd if so, is there a place in my settings where I can change that? Thanks if you can help!

Nooope. Unless you have it so that they can in your setting to check go to settings >> dashboard

On mine though, I have it where they can.
