I think internet discussion forums are the best way of information . If you are having any problem ,you can write your problem in forums and any member who knows anything related to your problem will reply back to you. Also if you know anything about other users problem or query you can help Him/Her.

Yes. Forums are good to gain knowledge, but right knowledge is depends on who has given the answer. Users who are having good rank replied to your query it will rally help you to find out solution.

I think they are good and bad, as some will honestly believe what they write and others will post the exact opposite in a plausible manner
