Why does she ignore me on facebook but talk to me in person?

I dont really understand. Sometimes i'll be chatting to her and then she'd cut me off completely. For example a few months back i saw her on a night out and she said hello and that saying that i looked really good. Then when i went on facebook to ask how her night went she just ignored me. That was 3 months ago.

I saw her last night she came straight up to me gave me a hug and asked how i was doing being all friendly and that. I dont get it. If i was to facebook her now i'd get ignored.

Some people just go on facebook a couple of times a month and she may not have time to reply but dont take it serioulsly I would rather talk to someone in person than on a social networking site so maybe she feels the same.
