I clicked on a facebook views counter and now it is advertising through my chat?

I stupidly clicked on a website on facebook to see my profile views and now the stupid website is advertising its fake counter to all my friends on chat! sending them messages and also posting on my friends walls!

how do i make is stop please???

Change your password and it should work. Those usually operate by taking your password then using your chat to advertise their counter.

Change your password go to account settings where it says password hit change and enter the new one in and in the future do not click on those links
