Got trolled by 4chan, Am I in trouble now?
I was looking around on 4chan and someone posted a link to a search on a government website with the search bar saying "How to kill the president".
Am I gonna be in trouble for it?
Sorry I wasn't clear about the link itself, I clicked the link not knowing it was gonna take me to the page searching for said result

Well do the government know it was a link?
Why don't you search up "Sorry someone on 4Chan sent a link here"
Also, wouldn't THEY get in trouble for getting the link?

You shouldn't be in trouble, it probably threw a couple red flags for the NSA so they might be watching a little more closely.
I don't think they're allowed to do anything to people who are "suspected" of plotting.

Just be careful of links on 4chan Smile

Sometimes it was just a prank. Just make sure you're not in it for a long time. Perhaps it's a new hackers scheme to let you into the link, and when you clicked it it sends a bug into your computer, stealing all your important. You may want to keep you guards high from now onwards.

While its illegal to say "I want to kill the president of the United States", it's not illegal to try to figure out how someone may theoriticly do it, so long as you don't start taking actions to that affect.
