How to Get BackLinks From Squidoo or Hubpages?

So I have been creating original articles for Squidoo and Hubpage. I add just one link backlink that tracks back to my page and these two sites shut my article down. I give them good content, setup Amazon and ebay items, the table of contents, and even a couple videos. I don't spam the articles or give them any crap. When I add 1 backlink and post, after a couple of days, they remove my article. What am I doing wrong? How do I get backlinks from these two websites??

I would first off ping your squidoo lens and then start creating backlinks pointed at your lens. Mix it up, create some bookmarks, maybe throw a few .edu blog comments, and then an SB blast or two. After that just make sure to ping anything and everything pointed at your lens.
