Im having possible Internet connection speed problems with DSL?
Currently I'm using At&t service and that would be DSL and broadband.. I ran a speed test of my internet speed on their site and here are the numbers. Download speed - 1.28Mbps and Upload speed - 0.33Mbps. I also have a wireless router connected too. So is there any way I can boost the performance besides asking At&t themselves. I really don't wanna do that. If have any tweaks or free tips on how to boost or improve these numbers please send some feedback.

DSL can be limited in three different areas.

1.) The Lines in the Neighborhood
2.) The Line coming to the House
3.) The Lines in the house.

Obviously you would need a Phone Company Representative to affect either of the the first two areas.

The third area you could do yourself. If you are somewhat technically oriented you could try disconnecting all of the phone lines at the junction in your house (except of course the line coming into the house) Then you could connect one dedicated line to the Modem and see if your performance increases significantly. If it does you could keep the dedicated line and put a DSL Line filter at the junction for all of your other phone lines. If it does not improve significantly, then the problem is in Area 1 or Area 2
