US History essay topic?

I have to write an essay for my sophomore us history class I want to write something original but I don't know what? The requirements are it can be anything from the 20th/21st century, had to happen in the US, atleast 7 pages.

Other kids in my class are writing about
9/11, Apollo 11, Vietnam war, red scare, asaination of JFK, social media in the us, and roaring 20s
