pretty much nothing has changed , fresh content, relevant backlinks and retention on the page and using the right tags on your page

and make sure you submit your page to google which no one does!!!

Some can bypass the panda and penguin updates, and some cant. Mostly the ones that are legit companies offer the higher quality work. I know cuz i did alot of trial and error before i found a good consistent site lol. Plus i hated wasting the time doing it myself lol

I am currently re-thinking my approach to the anchor text. I have been experimenting with about one-third of brand names as the anchor text, one-third of naked URL anchor text and one-third of random-keyword anchor text (for example, "more information", "writes on her blog")

I am also trying to do more outreach and relationship building, and less "submissions". The harder it is to get listed or mentioned on a site, the more worth it's being listed there! If it's super-easy, chances are Google won't think much of that link anyway.

Plus, one should always think user first. But this is what we've been doing all along, haven't we?
