Hello i want to sell my laptop on ebay for £350 but i want to track so i know the buyer have received it.
How do i purchase a tracking number?

Nothing to do with ebay, you get a tracking number when you take it to the post office and say i want to send this recorded delivery with tracking number please. (also you should be asked how much its worth as you also get insurance)
You pay, they give you a receipt, on the receipt is the tracking number.

Just order tracked parcel delivery in your post office (cheapest option), UPS, DHL, TNT and etc. They will explain everything for you. Remember to add tracking ID to the ebay and paypal, this will keep you safe from fraud.
