what would you do, buying selling online? help!!?
hi i just started not long ago buying selling on line the usual places ebay etc...

i have admittedly made some pretty big mistakes at first which i have learnt from but have allso done well enough to get glowing feedback so it is not all bad.Guess what I am saying is when you are just finding your way with something you have to learn by trial and error. This being the case I sensibly thought it best to start small with small things not makeing hardly any money but just useing that as a platform for learning the ropes and then that way when i am ready to do something much bigger involving more money and experience i hopefully wont make any mistakes as i will have learnt before hand

i guess my qustion is ..what would anyone recommend to start of with (something on a small basis and no need to earn lots of money) something which will be easy and ease me in gently so that i can focus more on learning how to do it all properly

i am thinking about buying wholesale for re sale or buying from one country to sell in another? anthing else? any suggestions .I have been there and done that with selling stuff from charity shops and car boots in this country and i dont want to do affiliate marketing.would be nice to choose a product or area i have some instinct and or knowledge in

Any ideas on something easy and small to get started on as I realise there would be a lot to learn like shipping costs postage tax the law etc etc etc

any help appreciated please and thankyou for your time

Well that's a pretty huge question: I'd suggest you pop over to http://www.warriorforum.com/ and take a look at all the many many ways people are making money online. Then browse through Fiverr.com and there are even more ideas there - you may come up with some brilliant idea inspired by what others are doing. In general, there aren't too many truly new ideas, so someone else out there is likely to be doing what you end up doing. I'm sorry - I know you were looking for recommendations and I haven't given you any - maybe someone else has a surefire winner, but if they have, I'm not sure they're going to share it!
Good luck.

You are definitely right by starting small and learn from errors. If you buy wholesale and then resell it on ebay or other places you need to control your stock and everything that cost.
While wholesaling, wholesale small quantity first, test the popularity, if the product sells well then start wholesale in bigger quantity. Don't wholesale large quantity at first. Stock is money.
Write down every penny you have spent.
Find a relaible supplier. A good supplier can save you from a lot of troubles. You can check,http://www.yiwuproducts.com/ maybe they can help you.
I first sell jewelry online, and then I sell fashion bags, clothes, belts and many other pop accessories. Hot products goes fast and money come fast too Smile.
Rome was not built in a day. If you have made your decision, stick to it. Success will come eventually.
Good Luck!
