Understanding a Facebook Violation Warning?
Today I got this warning:
You made a photo comment that violated our Terms of Use. Among other things, comments that are hateful, threatening, or obscene are not allowed. We also take down comments that attack an individual or group, or advertise a product or service. Continued misuse of Facebook's features could result in your account being disabled. I checked and I the offensive post was that I called someone a pervert because he kept commenting on one of my photos in well...a perverted way. I accept the fact that Facebook would take it down if someone reported me or whatever. I guess it is offensive to call someone that. But was it really so horrible that they couldn't let it go? Couldn't they see the context of what I was saying? Now I feel terrible about the whole thing...like a bad person. What counts as offensive in Facebook terms? What other ways can you get banned? I don't ever want to get a warning again :/ Ads |
