Tell me how to connect to wifi on the road?
I'm traveling. My wifi connecter finds plenty of hotspots, but they all show a lock.
How do I establish an internet connection if I don't know who's running the hotspot? Ads |

If it has a lock then it means you need a passcode to log in
certainly you cannot connect to it unless you see a free one , then just connect to it Ads |

The locks mean they are private wifis, not for the general public to use. Just because you can see them, doesn't mean they are hotspots for the public. You need to look for a public wifi - there are apps that will show you a list of wifi spots in the area you are in that are free to use.

Try to find a free one. There is an app that I heard of that will show you what places have free wifi. I don't know the name of the app though.
