Can eBay Automatic Bidding Be Beat In The Last Seconds?
I'm bidding on an item and I've set my max bid on it, and I'm currently the highest bidder.
But I noticed that when someone bid on the item, it took seven seconds for my bid to automatically be posted. Does this mean someone could out-bid me, even if I have set my max bid to a high number, in the last few seconds of the auction? Ads |

I have been outbid in the final second, several times.

you set your price what your willing to pay, the times you were beat they probably paid to much for the item anyways

The time difference is just how long it takes for eBay to update the notice of the bid. You will not be outbid unless someone bids higher than your max.
