Can you see when was the last time someone visited their Facebook?

I want to message this one person on Facebook because I don't have their number. But I don't want to send them a message if they hardly ever go on, cause I will look stupid. I can't tell if they go on often because they haven't posted anything for a very long time, but they have recent pictures. I remember back in the days when Myspace was the "thing" you were able to see the last time that person was on. Does Facebook do the same thing?
