I have a friend on Facebook how do I block what she sees?

If she really is your "best friend" then you should be able to tell her things, and trust that she won't blab. When you want to tell everyone EXCEPT your so-called best friend things, then maybe she really isn't that good of a friend...

A good rule of thumb is that if you don't want to tell your best friend something, you probably shouldn't put it on the internet. She will probably hear about it from someone else anyway, even if you can hide it from her on FB.

I think maybe she just has nothing else to talk about in her life, so she bad mouths other people, these people are not real friends. Or she just wants a bit of "banter"
