My internet was fast earlier today and now it is slow?

Literally an hour or so ago, my internet was fast, then my dad tried to connect an iPod to our internet and now it is really slow. How can I fix this?
Its been really slow for the past hour. I already unplugged the modem and router for half an hour and plugged them back in and it didn't fix it.

It depends, your service provider might throttle your internet service, and there isn't anything you can do about that. You could have too many devices connected to the internet at one time, which would cause it to slow down. The internet can move slower at certain times of the day when it experiences peak traffic.

With a lot of internet providers the internet slows way down during the peak hours because there are so many people using the internet.
