Shall I buy the website?
I have no experience in buying and running online business. Recently I have seen a website ready for sale visa businessforsale.com. The freehold price is high at around 30k, it said it has established for 10 years and currently generating an average income of £6500 monthly. It is a online marketing website that produces business blogs, the customers order posting of their articles and reviews on the blogs and pay money for it. when I check it against freewebsitereport.com, Alexa website rank and etc, I found this website ranks at 3,218,072, 342 daily page views, and estimated AD Revenue at only $30 monthly. The Net worth is around $600 dollars.

My question is, I know serious money making website won't sale, however does this website worth buying? The seller forwarded screenshots of his monthly income to me of the recent few months, the money looks good but I know in this era almost everything can be false. Another thing I concern is, through Alexa I could see since last year the seller made effort to "polish" the website-rank has been grown rapidly. The seller would offer me one-month inspection period for me to try running it myself before making payment. But you never know what happens after the first month right?

I really need some suggestions from experienced seller/buyer of this sector.

Many thanks!

I would say don't do it whilst it sounds good you have to look at other sides to it such as
How much experience has the person has?
The time they put into it? the passion you have for the project and profit is great but could you continue if it was loosing money?
all Business is a risk so you also have to be able to afford to risk it tanking as from the sound of it the numbers don't sound amazing as £6500 income how much Net profit is it actually making because 30k pretty steep ?

It sound very good, but it's allot have hard work to maintain the traffic and to try and improve it. You will have to spend extra to promote your website once you have bought it. extra costs can be involved. also trying asking the sell why they are selling this website. would be a good idea to interview the seller to get more insight.

best of luck!

At this day and age, sites are copied and duplicated. I would NOT pay this amount, but would rather start one similar to it. If you like the sites concept so much, instead of paying an outrageous amount of money, I would invest my time instead and try and do what this site has to offer. As well screen shots can be fake (Photoshopped).
