Why do i always lose AOL internet connection?

So im on AOL, and didnt really want to leave them because i get it really cheap since i have been with them around 12 years. There speed is really good as well for the price.

But the problem is the connection always breaks up?! It always breaks up, spoke to AOL they have changed the settings a lot of times, they have sent me a new router for free. But this still breaks up. Its all wired correctly, its had new filters put on with the new router.

This is DSL broadband but i might be going onto fibre soon but just want to get this sorted because if it gets fixed i wont need to change.

Your might line need looking at it could be faulty cables in the socket.
