Ebay buyer trying to scam me. Help?
I recently sold a pair of limited edition shoes to someone on ebay. They were completely brand new, I had only taken them out of the box for pictures. When it arrives to the buyer, he claims the item is not as described, saying that they have clearly been worn multiple times. I know that this is a lie, and I have tried explaining to the buyer that they are completely brand new. Yet, he still says that he will open a case with ebay to get a full refund back. What should I do? I don't want to have ebay give him all his money back, then he'll be able to basically keep the shoes for free.

Tell him you will refund his money if he ships them back but first send you photos of the so-called damage. This is a common scam with buyers. From now on block this guy from bidding and dont take bids from buyers with negative feedback or less than 100% rating.

Well, it's a problem. He will need to send photos to PayPal but I bet what he has one is wear them and make them look used. So you're stuck. PayPal will probably make you give a refund but he will have to return the shoes. Unfortunately Im thinking he has trashed them out of spite. Just as there a bad sellers out there, there are also bad buyers. Sorry.
