I am in a research institute in Punjab. All social sites are blocked. They continuously monitor internet and block IP if I try to access any of blocked site. But for accessing them I am using VPN subscription. Can they find out I am using VPN to access internet? I know connection gets encrypted in VPN but can they find that this IP is using VPN while monitoring? please help me

Firstly, all the connections going through VPN is encrypted, so they'll never know those things. Additionally, you don't need to shell out your money in getting VPN subscription. There are hell lots of best VPN services available for absolutely free of cost.

One of them is "CyberGhost" which is free to use and does not cut the actual speed of the internet connections unlike others. Also you can choose the server as per your desire.

They can't see what you are doing over a good VPN but they certainly can see the encrypted traffic and determine from the packet headers that you are running a VPN. The guy above doesn't have a clue. Including his recommendation to use free VPN/s which are hackers dreams and malware and spyware traps.

Whatever you do don't fall for the bogus review on the so called best vpn review sites. They are all scams where the best reviewed VPN's are the ones that pay the review site the most money. Even the customer reviews on these sites are phoney.

I highly recommend using VPNPower in order to unblock websites. I've been using them since 4 years. http://is.gd/powervpn
