How to change status with no story?

Hi all. On Facebook, I was wondering if it could be possible to change your relationship status without it becoming a story and showing up on everybody's feeds. I still would like it on my profile, just not a story for all to see. Thanks

Change your Relationship Privacy Setting To The Right Of the Relationship Status you Should See the People Box Click on it and Change it to What Ever you Like it to Be Friends Only Me Only Or Friends of Friends or Customize it
