Annoying adds popping up in Firefox?

in my opinion, just check at firefox extension or add-on that installed tried uninstall some feature that seem like ads or you can also check on control panel - installed program and remove some browser toolbar from the ads like ask, etc. hope this help you

There are clever programmers in the ad industry and they have multiple avenues to get around simple blocking add-on's.
You must modify beyond those, for both security & privacy, plus the annoying ads which may be 'weaponized'.

Note that 'safe browsing' only relates to things saved on the local machine; like cookies, history, passwords, and so on: it has no relationship to incoming ads, or other assets from websites or "3rd party" items. Those behave independently, and follow whatever settings & mods you've made to the browser.

You may want to clean up your PC with "MalwareBytes".
