If I address my friends on a social site like facebook and use ''내가 부산에 갈 때 우리 만납시다'' would it be considered informal? And if so, what would be the more formal way of expressing a suggestion to meet up for a bigger group of people?

I'd suggest you change 내가 to 제가. 내가 is the informal form of 제가. Also 우리 is the informal form of 저희, so you might want to consider changing that, too. Even though it's quite common to hear people use formal speech and informal speech mixed together, in this case it sounds quite awkward and is grammatically wrong.

Other than that, it sounds okay to me!

제가 부산 갈 때 만나뵙고 싶습니다.

내가 --> 제가 formal expression
우리 만납시다 --> 우리 is probably from "let' us" of 'us' doesn't add any meaning. '만납시다' is commanding expression of "let us meet" where you can use it, if you are of same age. If you are addressing it to a older person, it is not suitable to use commanding expression to him/her. You may express your wish to meet up. Like "만나뵙고 싶습니다", wish to meet you.

If you want to say, "I'll arrange a meeting," you can say, "제가 자리를 마련하겠습니다."
