Actually those are pretty decent numbers. Is it 1000 total? or 1000 average per post? Either way its good. If you keep it up you hit the 10k mark sometime this year. Add a product you're selling and you could be having a nice sidehustle.

Those are fairly spectacular results, I have to wonder if you happened to write about some viral keyword. 100 a week is probably more typical for a new unknown blog. You can install some tracking software, the free Statcounter.com might do, allowing you to see info, including the location of each visitor, 950 visits from the same computer would be less impressive.
One Important Note, to maximize load speed, which helps your search ranking and traffic, you need to optimize your images for the internet, get some program that can edit, resize and jpeg compress images, there may be online tools that do it. The first image on the main page is has huge dimensions causing the file size to be 470k, if you re-sized it, then lowered the compression quality setting to like 60% you could get it down close to 47K. That alone would shave a second off the load time for some DSL users. Bounce Rate is the term for the percentage of people who leave the site without going beyond the main page, or who bail before the home page has loaded, slow loads make for larger bounce rates. Ads |
