Facebook chat via text message?

How can I chat with my facebook friends using text messages? I want to be able to send a text from my phone and a friend on facebook gets it as a chat from me. I know they can send me texts with a certain app but i want it to be more streamless so we can talk both ways.

it depends what phone service u have, like t-mobile, verison etc. It doesnt work w/ T-mobile

If ur on facebook, go down to the very very bottom..in the right corner there are words like : About, Advertisment, Developers, Careers, Terms, Find Friends, Privacy, Mobile, Help Center...they r all in blue so that means that they r links...click on MOBILE, from there u can choose Facebook Mobil Texts...hope i helped : )
