How to add a website in directoriy and submit articles on Yahoo and Dmoz respectively?

I would like to add my website - http://www.admissionnotification.in to Yahoo directories and also like to submit article to DMoz.

Also, please provide me some genuine list of directory, article submission sites which can easily list my site.

The Yahoo directory has a $299 annual site review fee, it's not the ranking powerhouse it once was and would be a questionable investment.

I have not heard of articles on DMOZ, I thought it was just a highly respected human reviewed site directory, being run by volunteers it's well known for taking months to get around to review a site, sometimes a category might be stagnant in which case one might have to apply to a different category.
