How do I tag friends in a facebook comment?

What should I type in order to tag a friend in a comment on facebook? I tried typing the "@" symbol then the name, but it didn't work. There's no drop down menu that appears. I have a blackberry 9360. HELP PLEASE!!

I see your problem...Blackberries suck! I have no problem tagging people on my Sony Xperia and never had a problem on any android phone I owned.

If you don't get a drop down box, type the full name. You may not see it as a tag, but if you look at the post on a computer (or a real phone), you'll see it.

BTW....@ doesn't work in Facebook.
