Just add a copyright statement to the footer of all your site pages, mentioning your site name inside of articles might catch some automated content theft. Realistically you have limited protection, people will copy some text content and images that will show up in Google image search, some watermark images with their site name to discourage the latter.
Sites like search engines and copyscape.com can help identify copied content, usually if you send the webmaster a cease and desist order they will take down the copied stuff. Sometimes you ha ve to complain to the hosting company of an unresponsive site.
