Well I'm trying to find an application on facebook where you can find out who has gone on your facebook profile that day or whatever.
Would you happen to know what it's called? thanks

No such application exists. Some applications may advertise that they will let you see who is looking at your Facebook page or something of the sort, but this type of application is both illegal by Facebooks terms and conditions and impossible to create due to the secure programming of Facebook.

No Such thing. The App might advertise it but its totally against Facebook Rules.

To protect yours and others' privacy they do not have such an application. The most I have seen is a facebook group asking you to join and adding your friends so as to 'see' who has visited your page. It is a hoax and does not show the visitors at all.
