Why do you think people stopped using myspace?
and what do you think Facebook developers could do to prevent facebook from meeting the same fate?

Ads

I say its just the trend in a way everything comes and goes... I personally never really liked myspace I prefer Facebook. I don't really know what they could do to prevent the same "fate." can't really do anything I suppose. Idk

Myspace is cluttered with ads and unwanted annoying colors and extra stuff that wasn't there before. People like simplicity and new things in general. If facebook continues to keep their sight simple and keep the ads to the minimum then they might continue to be successful as long as a new social website doesn't arise and take over.

Well I just think that people have a tendency to jump on the newest and latest thing - what is hot right now and actually I still use myspace as I don't like putting all my eggs in one basket. I work online and I love facebook but with everything there are negatives and a few I see would be all the virus and hacking going on that you are even paranoid to click on anything even from someone that you know.

facebook will meet the same fate as every other website once something "cooler" comes along... it inevitable

but as far as myspace specifically, most people left once myspace decided to not let you use css codes anymore (if you dont know what css codes are, call them "copy/paste layouts"

MySpace ruined it when they started adding too much sh*t like ads, and then they started to ripoff FaceBook's idea with tha "status updates" and nobody likes a fraud. MySpace officially died last year Sad I miss tha old MySpace from 2006.
