I would agree with Rob here.

When you are selling Avon products (or any health / beauty / household good) you need to develop a good base of clients. This needs to extend out from your friends and family into a broad network of individuals in you community.

Also, be aware that you need to buy a certain amount of stock in Avon products when you start. Many people don't realize how difficult selling will be and end up with a bunch of excess product they already paid for.

here's the deal. avon has been around for a -loooong- time. If there's a way for it to be sold, someone has thought of it. avon and ebay is a bad idea. why?

1. tons of people doing it
2. spend HOURS packaging n shipping
3. will lose your butt on ebay fees because people sell it at barely above cost, and force you to make PENNIES per sale
4. i'm sure avon itself sells avon products on ebay for way less than you can
5. did i mention something about there being -tons- of competition?

if you're going to do avon, just realize that all of your friends will hate you, and you DONT make much money from selling products, you make money from signing other people up. the product is what keeps it from being an illegal pyramid scheme. otherwise, that's exactly what it is. if you want to make money on ebay, get into drop shipping popular items, but even that is cut-throat. trust me on this. i used to make 150k a year selling stuff online in 2010.. i had to shut down by 2012 because there was so much fraud and competition. it's still possible, but... not as lucrative as it was. you missed the internet sales bus hun sorry

If you want to start selling Avon do it with the people you know first, before going on ebay. I have been selling Avon for almost four months. I have made enough to pay my bills each month and for gas money just by selling to my family, coworkers, and friends. I also do not have another job Avon is my only one at the moment, it gives me freedom to sell on my own time while going to college. It is your choice how you want to sale. The only fee you have to pay is at sign up which is $10. You do not have to buy extra stuff to sale unless you want to. The best part is you get to work when you want to and how you want to. I have not had anyone come up to me saying they hate me for selling Avon and the people I tell get excited.

When you sale items you will get 20% to 50% of the sales profit over sales of $50. Say you sold $425 worth of items that has a 40% earnings then you would make almost $200. With some of my profit I brought a few items to try and sale on ebay, but I haven't sold any Avon products on their yet just trading cards.

They should have meetings in your area that you are able to meet once or twice per month. You will get emails to when the meetings will be. It is your choice if you want to attend the meetings or not. The meetings help with giving tips to help increase your sales. Here is the link where you can sign up if you don't know anyone who works for Avon, also you don't have to pay the $10 online I did it in person:

https://www.youravon.com/REPSuite/static...c=youravon

use DBFRYE as the representative reference code I think you might get something by using it, but I am not sure

If you decide that Avon is not right for you you can move on with no problem. My mom sold Avon along time ago and her full time job was too busy for her to sale Avon.

The Avon Foundation have donated millions of dollars for disaster relief, domestic violence awareness, and breast cancer research.
