How to connect computer to internet?

I have a Cradlepoint router that you plug one of the old 3G modems into. It has 5 places where a Telefonica wire can be insurted 4 yellow 1 blue blue ones got like a computer pic beneath it. How can you connect the telefone wire from the router and put it in the computer. Then how to connect. By the way it's got Windows XP and for my little sister.

Insert the rj45 (lan) cable of the 3g modem in the port of the router (usually colored blue).
Refer to your modems manual for the default ssid and password, you will need it to setup wifi in yout computer.
If your computer is desktop you will need a wifi usb dongle, that way you can connect your pc to the router and internet.
