Tabbed browsing in Internet Explorer 10?
I have only just got my laptop back today after having lent it to a friend for a few months and I am having a problem with Internet Explorer, every time I click on a link in google it opens the link in a new tab whereas it previously opened the link in the existing tab, I have tried changing the settings in the general > tabs but still I have this very annoying problem, anyone know how to solve this so that I don’t have hundreds of tabs popping up every time?

Install the newest version of Internet Explorer, to IE11. With a bit of luck, that should take care of it. Or, obviously, change browsers. In the future, it is also smart to make a separate account if you lend your computer to others - you don't really know that there's no keylogger installed now, for instance.
