A feminist campaigner isn't a celebrity...

Because everyone gets trolled on Twitter. If you are famous in any way shape or form and are on twitter then you will get trolled. Sports people are a good target because they are so well known, feminists because they get upset so easily and basically any other public figure. There are web pages setup where twitter trolls boast about getting their comments published in the media. There are even internet groups who are having a contest to see who can get the most trolling tweets published.
While the abuse is often sexist I think most of the trolls are young boys mostly and some young girls and even a few celebs have been caught trolling themselves. I think some of the trolled celebs actually use the abuse for publicity purposes. Courtney love was actually sued for trolling her former lawyer. The organized trolling groups are based on 4chan and Encyclopedia Dramatica to name two. The two in your article look like upstanding citizens but they can't compete with this troll http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crime/br...-1.1605696 |

Unfortunately for some internet trolls the word feminist means "target" - these people do not understand the concepts of human rights and freedom of expression - all they understand it cruelty and abuse. They are the bullies of the 21st century. I'm glad that something is being done for people who have no sense of ethics and deliberately harass others for amusement. They deserve to be arrested. Being young and stupid is no excuse.

Because there is a division between what is good and what isn't among human beings, and when it's out of someone's comfort zone, which has a wider margin of having peace in the world, compared to the other that would rather have it a war, and make people uncomfortable, because they are, it's going to be an issue. It's up to the other person on whether they feel they need to stand their ground, or whether the other's words speaks for itself, about how common good, is what makes it a comfort zone for people. Those knowingly making the wrong choice are already battling with it, and won't find comfort in that at all. Some, rather than change it, may try, and some have forced their discomfort upon you. Recruiting, because it sure won't reproduce into anything, or anyone being negative this way, naturally. We all start out being born naturally good, and like good things. This is what makes happiness.

Because feminists get a lot of hate, for preaching equality. Oddly enough, I notice the female troll in the story was sentenced to 12 weeks, while the male troll received 8 weeks - presumably for the same crime. But don't let the Yahoo Answers trolls know about that. They may try to turn it into another thing to attack feminists over.
