Doesn't want to be friends but?

My ex tells me he doesn't want to be friends anymore (we were really good friends before, like hanging out a lot and went on a trip together)...
HE'S the one that ended the relationship, almost 1 year ago (we didn't talk for 3 months after the break up)
But we got into a big argument where harsh/mean things we're said. I could tell he was just so annoyed during the argument, from the one we had 2 weeks prior to that...

So we haven't really talked in almost a month.... I feel like he's still upset
We're not friends on Facebook (not the first time he has unfriended me)


But he keeps me in his profile pictures, even though his brother hacked his Facebook account and posted a dumb profile picture, my ex deleted the hacked picture, but kept the pictures of us (I KNOW he hasn't forgotten the pictures he had of us.. I know he's seen them). And Facebook is a lot more viewable than Instagram

But he deleted the pics of us from Instagram, along with most of
his other pictures... which was stupid since he barely has any pictures to begin with

If he really didn't want to be friends with me, then why would he continue to have pictures of the two of us up? I know he deletes things from Facebook, so I know it's not like he "forgets" these things

(I'm not saying to try and get back with him… But I know that we're not going to not be friends forever)

If you that you and hem are not going to be friend forever then leave it here.. Even you said you also don't want to get back with him then let it be go.. Just focus on your present life and how he treat you, you do same things with him don't think more....

Oh my goodness,honey -- he is just keeping some pictures of you; that's all. People keep photos of their ex's for YEARS -- in photo albums, in a shoe box on the top shelf of the clothes closet, and now they keep them on Facebook. It's only pictures of people whom they want to always remember in the coming years, and want to be reminded of the good times they once had, and other memories those pictures may bring back. Just because he has your pictures on his profile page does not mean that he is looking at them every day and pining over them.
If those pictures were printed on photo stock and he had them stored in shoe box instead of Facebook, would you mind? Probably not. Don't you have some of HIS pictures stored away somewhere? I hope so.
