Updated Internet explorer?

So recently my Windows 8 PC had this update which change the appearance of the internet explorer. After the update it became full screen and the minimize, hide and exit buttons changed into what looks like Windows Vista buttons. Also I have to move the mouse to the top and wait for the toolbar to drop down before I can access the tabs. It really pisses me off why they cant just keep it the same. If anyone knows how to change it back please tell, and please don't give me shitty answers like: "You use Internet Explorer" or "You should use Mozilla Firefox".
