no internet connection?
I am having some trouble connecting to internet. I recently moved and relocated my internet services. but since then I am having unable to connect to internet. I have received the configuration details from my ISP however I am still not able to connect. I am using a laptop with Win 7 and none of my other devices (tablet, phone etc...) are able to connect.
I am using a belkin F5D7633-4a ( wireless ADSL 2+ G router modem). Modem issue: I am using 192.168.2.1 to get to the router utility page. When I enter my config details and click apply changes, the page just refreshes with error " Internet not connected". Laptop is recognizing the internet connection. Laptop issue: if I try and configure through my laptop - I go to control panel>network share connection>setup new network> put my details in> it gives me error 651. HELP!!! - AK Ads |

error 651 is a modem issue.
It happens to people all the time. There are many reasons, but the perhaps the most common is either a problem with the driver, set-up, or anti-virus. Possibly it's the setup. In that case, contact the ISP and they will help you do it properly, or have a help and support page that deals with it. Probably like this - - - Go into My computer > control panel > modems. Check correct modem is installed. If not then remove modem > restart computer > re-install modem. If still getting the same problem > go into control panel > networks > remove dial up adapter and TCP/IP > restart computer Go back into control panel > re-install dial up adapter and TCP/IP. Microsoft deal with this all the time, and there is plenty of information plus a Mr Fixit that might help. Also, you can try here for fair advice. - http://www.error651.com/ Ads |
